During the making of plaster, the elements of dust and water come together to create a product that transforms from liquid to solid through its drying. In order to investigate how plaster reacts when it is reintroduced to water a plaster plate is placed in a river. Through the softening of the plaster when exposed to water, the currents of the river became visible on the plate. This process is made visible in the plaster by introducing four types of water from the hydrological cycle; sea, river, condensation and rain.
